Its a Wrap!!!

Well its now time for us to depart our utopia of vacation, and head back to the states! this has definitely been a TRUE ADVENTURE!! Stephanie and I have seen and experienced things that we could have never ever imagined, and most importantly we have further strengthened our sisterly bond!
Yesterday, we went on our last Animal Plant adventure we went to the Batu Cave which is a holy Indian Prayer Temple, it was filled with breath taking sculptures and architecture and MONKEYS (once again GIRL BYE are you F**king kidding me!!) the monkeys are untamed and possible rabies infested but Stephanie insisted on feeding them.....gotta love her....after our wild life adventures we went to the Central Market which consisted of millions and millions of vendors selling their native goods. We got some really cool stuff!!
We ended our night on such a high note, we went to Tiff's favorite Italian restaurant, it was awesome!! and Stephanie surprised us with a birthday cake and candles !!!!!!!
Well, more pictures to follow soon, back to the airport we go!!!!! I can't wait to get back to Dallas to get me some chocolatte ;)..... Peace.

Yep...it's so hard to say "Good-bye"....to piggy-back off of Kema; we had the most amazing, memorable and adventurous vacation. We truly did it ALL. For me, visiting my sister and her "wonderful" husband is at the very top of my list...we had a blast! It was everything I'd hope and much more...now i'm looking forward to visit her in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2011....I'm so very blessed to have her in my life; what a gift!

Right now, Kema and I are at a transit hotel in Seoul, Korea to get some rest and freshen up. We have a 7hr layover, then off to LAX; we should get home tomorrow morning around 8:30am.

This has been a vacation of a lifetime and it will never be forgotten and it DEF will be hard to top. I believe this will be our last post. However, stay tuned for the FINAL DRAFT with additional pics...we will send an email prompting you all to visit the page. Until the next adventure peeps..we hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we did........PEACE, two fingers, DEUCES!!!!!!

Wow What a Day in Malaysia!!

Hey everyone!!! We are mid-day of our 3rd day in Malaysia, and its been such a nice change of pace! back to city living THANK GOODNESS,tall buildings, modern cars, and a variety of cuisine....yesterday we explored the city native style, Stephanie's sister Tiff has been a magnificent host, she has really shown us the true Malaysian way of living.

Moving along to today's adventures...well I might as well face it I am a girly girl (nature phobia), Hell I am from Detroit !!!!!! not so much on the animals and outdoors, but Stephanie on the other hand is on the other end of the spectrum, she is Dr.Do Little in the flesh, so today we went to the Rain Forest to ride elephants....GIRL BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (my family will totally understand the validity of girl bye LMAO)that mess was for the birds seriously, I was scared shitless, imagine me+humidity+foreign country bugs=complete fear LOL but Stephanie and Tiff loved it, they feed the elephants and even road them, BUT Stephanie AKA Dr. Doo Little opted to NOT ride the elephants through the malaria water...a little too adventures?? LMAO honestly she just didn't want to get her hair wet!!!!

All in all it was an experience that I most definitely don't want to do again but it was fun and I was happy that I got to share in Step's joy of animals. Well people until next time!! Peace

Malaysia: Day 1 At My Sister's House

Hey guys! It's part 2 Big South Asia Adventure. We made it to Kuala Lumpur, last night around 8 pm. The airport was unlike any I've ever seen, there is an indoor 3rainforest atrium. It looked like a mall, that's how amazing it was. I haven't seen my sister in like 2 years and it was great, amazing and wonderful to see my sis after all this time. She has a fun-filled week planned for us, we didn't have to plan anything, she's taking care of everything. Her husband is really cool, he gave us curbside service. Kuala Lumpur looks like any other metropolitan city, it's predominately Muslim culture. We saw people walking through the airport barefoot. It's definitely a different experience. I would never see anything like this in the U.S.

So today we are off to explore different parts of the city that my sister usually goes to Including Chinatown, the home of designer knock-offs. We're also going to eat some local food so we'll be living like natives for the next 5 days. Check in with y'all laters!! Peace!!

Day 1 to be cont'd.....

As you can see from the pics day 1 at my sister's house was a FULL day...and we ended our night at the Reggae Bar...Fun times!!!

Day 6: Headed to Malaysia!!!!

Hey Peeps:

It's about 9:30am, January 4, 2010 here in Samui and we leave at 11am to head to the airport. Todays travel will not be so bad. We leave Koh Samui around 12:30, fly into Bangkok and then we have a 4:40pm flight to Malaysia. The flight to Malaysia is around 2hrs.

This morning I got up bright and early; 5:30am to be exact, to watch thee sunrise and took some freakin amazing pics. I'm definitely going to take some photography classes when I get back...yes..I'm patting myself on the back. I took some darn good pics; even I'm shocked when I look at them, lol. When we get to my sister house in Malaysia I will post the pics.

Anywho, be on the lookout for some more pics later this evening. We'll keep you posted....PEACE!

Day????:Having so much fun we can't keep up!!

Hello All:

We just wanted to send a update-yes we are still alive! We are just having a great time and that leaves little room for blog postings. However, we realize that we have "followers" and we MUST keep up with our blog for you guys....

Okay, so the last posting was our trip to Ang Thong National Park; which was amazing! After, that activity I truly didn't think anything else would top the National Park...but then...we took to a speed boat to a little island about an hour away from Samui called Ko Tao for snorkeling. Ko Tao was the most amazing island/beach I'd ever seen...it was one of those places you see in on a postcard...words honestly can not describe what we saw; breathtaking is the only thing that comes to mind. Snorkeling was a real treat. Our guide took us to two separate locations and both were amazing, epic, and surreal.

Sidebar: One thing i will say about traveling to a place like Thailand; people from all over the world come here; mostly Europe and Australia. But we've met people from the Netherlands, New Zealand, my back yard Redondo Beach, Ca, Paris, Demark and Singapore...the list goes on and on...the point I'm trying to make is that you could totally travel by yourself; which I’m sure when you think about it...it seems overwhelming. But Kema and I have met a lot of people on Holiday that travel alone and meet other travelers along the way; it's really interesting. Me personally, would've never entertained the thought of traveling alone, but after this experience I would be open to the idea.

This was our last day here on the island. Tomorrow, we are headed to Malaysia. Today, we chilled by the beach; it rained, and we did some shopping. For the rest of my life I will never forget the people we've meet, the relationships we've built in such a short period of time and the experiences that we shared. Thus far, it's been priceless!

One of the things I'll miss most is taking a shower with nature; yes outside, and having a masseuse right outside our door and of course the beach (big smile). One of things Kema WILL NOT miss most is the BUGS and the shower outside, LOL! She was a trooper tho, because I was really concerned about her at the beginning of our trip, but she really step out of her comfort zone. Love you Kemi! LMAO right now!!!!

Alrighty, we'll keep you posted....two fingers!!!

Activities Activites Activities!!

Hey Everyone!!

Stephanie and I have been doing it doing it!! Yesterday we went kayaking and today we went snorkeling at some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!!!! I am certain that I have experienced a piece of Heaven!! During our adventures we've met so many people from around the world, Australia, Germany, Canada, UK, France, and the list goes on, today was the first day that we actual met other people from the US.
Kayaking was quit the adventure, imagine Stef+ myself + kayak/the ocean= PRICELESS. All & all we rocked it!!! Besides the fact that our boat got stuck between two corals, I think we are pretty good kayakers LMAO.

Day 4: Happy New Years Peeps!!!!!!!

OMG! Happy New Years everyone!

Kema and I just got back from the Full Moon Party; which is the place to party for New years! It was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my entire life; thus far. The fact that I'm attempting to blog is beyond me. But in truth, it is something that everyone-who can-should experience; words can not describe the fullfilment of brining in the News Years with about 35,000 from all over the world. This News Years and full moon party was extra special only because it is the first time in along time-35 years-that the island has had a full moon during a Full Moon party. Therefore, we were a part of a little island history.
NEway....we spent majority of the day lonunging beachside, we indulged in a Thai massage; which was amazing btw and we chilled with the crew.

It's about 4am January 1, 2010 and we are going to the National Park later today; like 7:30 am to Kyaking. Yeah, thats right in about 3hrs we will be up and at it again.........yes, we are "doing the most" but you only live once! And we are in Thailand who knows when we'll ever get this opportunity again. By the time we leave we will be exhuasted.

Well, that's all lads....until next time....HAPPY NEW YEARS! We'll keep you posted...PEACE and we LOVE the HELL out of you guys!!!!
